First Fruits: In Proverbs 3:9 we are taught to honor the Lord with the “First Fruits” of our labor.
- By setting up a recurring contribution that is scheduled to come out of your account on the day you specify, you can ensure that your First Fruits are given back to God.
- Simplicity: You will not need to remember if you gave this month or send in your offering checks when you are out of town.
- Security: Online giving is more secure than giving with a check in that an electronic gift can’t be lost or stolen. A giving statement will be sent to you at year-end for your personal tax purposes.

How to serve?
Ministries
Consumed Youth
Consumed Youth Ministry is primarily designed to meet the interests and needs of teenagers from 6th through 12th grade. Consumed Youth meet Sunday Mornings at 9:30 AM and Sunday Nights at 6:00 PM. If you have a passion for the Youth this could be your way to serve!
Thnaz Kids
Thnaz Kids is an exciting and engaging experience for children and we have classes from Pre-school and 1st grade through 5th grade! The classes teach foundational Biblical truths through lessons, activities, and worship songs that are designed with children in mind. Thnaz Kids is held during the morning service the kids are unusually dismissed after morning worship. If you love teaching kids this could be the way you could serve!
Children’s Bible Quizzing
Bible quizzing is an opportunity for your child to learn and memorize the scriptures. They go to monthly quiz meets that honor their studying. Practice is Sunday evenings at 6 p.m. (August—May). Love seeing kids learn the bible? This could be your way to serve!
Sunday School
We offer Sunday School Classes for all ages of children every Sunday morning at 9:30 am. Our classes are created around interactive Bible lessons taught with the intent purpose of planting God’s Word in our children’s hearts! Love teaching? Then this may be the way you can serve!
Small Life Groups
To develop an intentional plan to enroll all church members and regular attendees into an ongoing small group for the purpose of spiritual discipleship and connections. If you want to organize and lead a group or help with an existing group this could be how you can serve!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Every Summer at THFN we enjoy hosting Vacation Bible School! This fun packed week is full of fun activities, worship and games for kids of all ages! Not only is this a blast but the kids also experience great lessons from the bible and ultimately get to hear about Jesus and what he has done for them! We always need lots of help for VBS!
VAN MINISTRY
Don’t have a ride? Don’t worry we can pick you up! Give us a call and we will schedule you in to be picked up. The Van ministry is all about providing a way for those who cannot make it because of transportation. Do you love driving? This could be your ministry then!
REVIVE Terre Haute
This ministry is the main calling from God for all who believe! Which is known as the Great Commission! As Christians God has given us the job of reaching others with the precious Gospel of the Lord Jesus and if we do not reach them then who will? This ministry is all about equipping believers with the knowledge and strength to reach the lost and bring more people into the Kingdom of God! If you would like to help organize more Revive events this could be your way to Serve!
Technology
The Church uses a lot of Technology and the church needs help maintaining computers, the website, sound system, camera system, and more. If you are tech savy then this ministry might be right for you!
Nursery & Explorers
Every Sunday we provide a Nursery for kids ages 1-2. Older kids can join the Explorers age 3 to Kindergarten. If you love taking care babies this could be a great opportunity to serve.
Facilities and Maintenance
The Church always could use some help in maintenance. If you are able to help in anyway this may be your opportunity to serve.
Hospitality
Hospitality is important to us here at THFN. If you have a passion for door greeting, making followup cards and just trying to make people feel good this ministry might be for you!
Decorating
If you love decorating then the church always needs people to help change out things as the holidays come and go. Also the kids ministries are always making all kinds of new decorations depending on the theme of the lesson etc.
Coffee maker / Donut Pick up
Every Sunday we love to meet and fellowship in the back with coffee and Donuts at 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. If you feel you could help with this then this might be your way to serve!
Sports Coordinator
Every year the church participates in a corn hole league! Tons of fun and the winning team actually gets to be displayed on a plaque out in the front of the church! If you love sports and want to help coordinate Corn hole and other sports this could be your way to serve!
Worship Arts
The Bible commands us to give praise unto the Lord for all that he has done for us and just because he is God. He deserves all honor all Praise and all worship! At THFN we believe we can worship with all our musical talent! If you have talent with Music then sign up to get an audition today!
