Connect Small Groups
Ephesians 4:16, “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
1 Peter 4:10, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
Purpose: To develop an intentional plan to enroll all church members and regular attendees into an ongoing small group for the purpose of spiritual discipleship and connections.
To provide an entry point for new attendees to connect with other believers and to discover the fundamental beliefs of our church.
Vision: “To see every person, from the core of our church to the ever-growing community, connected in a healthy small group.”
Mission: “To help spiritual seekers become transformed believers who connect with God and others.” “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… and the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42 & 47
“It’s all about building relationships and taking next steps in your journey toward Christ.” Celebrating with others at a weekend service is an important part of our church life. However, it’s easy to get lost in a crowd. God never intended for us to live life alone, He created us for community.
Description: It is within a discipleship group, where people study God’s Word together and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where they pray, care for one another and are missed if they don’t show up. These small groups provide opportunities for us to further our relationships with one another and with God. Discipleship provides opportunities to teach Believers how they can live out the Gospel in their culture.
